A comprehensive proposal for the development of the Mandir Complex, including structural restoration of the heritage buildings, renovation and re-use of existing buildings along with a proposed museum complex, which is a partially sub-terranean structure emerging out of the surrounding designed landscape.
The Saibaba Mandir complex is concieved as “an ambience of simplicity, austerity and purposefulness, reflecting the spirit of the Baba” in its theme, form and vivacity. The temple, where the mortal remains of the Baba are put to rest, is the sanctum of the whole complex. It signifies the presence of an immortal Parusha which epitomizes eternity.
