Farmhouse

The farmhouse on this 1 acre site was designed  as series of landscaped terraces carved out of a  steeply sloping terrain on the rear end of the plot.  The driveway follows a curved loop through the  garden giving changing views of the green spaces as one approaches the house. A party lawn with a lily pool forms a spill over space from the interiors of the house while the stepped garden with a variety of garden plants gives a lush green look from the main  levels below. Most of the civil work uses exposed stone masonry walls and the elements include a water cascade flowing alongside the stepped planters into  a pool with fountains.
