Martyrs Memorial

Martyrs Memorial at Itanagar is proposed in the memory of brave soldiers and vilians who laid their lives in Indo-China War 1962. Topography of the site, rich vegetation growth around and visibility from the National Highway determine site planning strategies. 

The proposal consists of the Memorial Monument, the Wall of  Remembrance, Museum, Interaction and Sculpture Courts and utilities. The memorial monument signifies three qualities of a martyr: Patriotism, Bravery and Sacrifice.
